Monday 4th August – Windsurf ** Levington on the River Stour – cloudy
with rain:(
Foil – 19.19 knot max, 17.65 knot ave., 5.96 knot hour, 13.33 knot mile,
23.00 km., 14.13 knot alpha.
Starboard Freeride 150 and a Evolution Freeride foil with a Naish Nalu
4.75.
With Storm Floris heading our way I did not fancy an open sea session so
decided to head over to Levington Marina to meet up with fellow foiler
Robert! It was not very inspiring being gloomy with some light rain but
there was a good SW gusting to 25 knots so we decided to give it a go, I
rigged 4.75 and Robert 4m and to be honest they were too small but it was
horrendously gusty so whatever sail we rigged today would not have been
right:( We floundered about for the best part of hours hours playing spot
the gust, no fun at all!
